What: STENTOR SYSTEM UPGRADE

When: Tuesday, January 9, 2007 1:00 AM

What: Upgrade Phillips/Stentor software.

User Impact: All users will be redirected to Business Continuity Server during downtime.  Should be no user impact. However, there is one configuration change that will need to take place to each PC that uses Stentor; DIS is working with Rad to plan the best way to handle that situation and will have staff on hand to address issues that may arise after the upgrade.

On Jan 09, 2007, we will be upgrading the ISite / Stentor server and some complications may occur due to this. The issues that Phillips – Stentor has notified us are involving Reports and Exceptions Handlers. If you try to review reports or exam notes

you may see these issues:

 

 

What you will need to do prior to loading ISite is to clear the cookies and cache on the system. Please follow the instructions below to verify that you will not see the above issues.

 

To delete temporary files and cookies:

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

 

3. On the General tab, click Delete Files.

4. Select Delete all offline content and click OK.

 

5. Click Delete Cookies and click OK.

6. Click OK in the Internet Options dialog to exit.

 

If you have done the steps to clear the cookies and cache, and still experience problems, please notify the HelpDesk on this issue so that way IS will know which systems are experiencing this problem.
